Never stop fighting." E.E. Cummings and thus, i salute all of you who have stayed true to yourselves in this school. grades after all, are just grades. (yes yes some might beg to differ, but it's my opinion here xD) but the good person you turn out to become after four years here, is possibly the greatest achievement you could ever get. the society here, it's a pressure cooker. some of us tend to conform to what we deem 'acceptable' by others. others, are the ones who keep swimming against that current and making sure they never get carried away. i salute these people. i must say, at some point of time, some of us became cowards. afraid to speak up, to stand up for what we believed in, to right what's wrong, to seize opportunities. but along the way, it was heartening to see that we found our voices, learnt to fight against the odds and most importantly, remembered who we truly are - our principles, our values. so guys, keep staying true to yourselves yeah (: im not sure how to end this thing, but a classic filiae melioris aevi seems the way to go :D Im an rgs graduate of batch '09, y'all. xD -siti(: ; Y 1:39 AM 'We got a little world of our own I'll tell you things that no one else knows I let you in where no-one else goes What am I doing without you And all of the things I've been looking for Have always been here outside of my door And all of the time I'm looking for something new What am I doing without you' [world of our own, westlife] -siti(:

; Y 10:39 AM CONGRATULATIONS TO THE CAST AND CREW OF MAHKAMAH KEADILAN COS YOU GUYS DID A SUPERDYDUPER AWESOME JOB YESTERDAY AND IT WAS SUCHHHH A GREAT WAY FOR US SEC FOURS TO END OFF THE YEAR WITH A BANG! thank you guys for spending all your time and effort for the past few months to realisasikan this show :D each and every single one of you, i repeat, EVERY SINGLE ONE of you, had been a tremendous help be it the pubs and welfare, admin, props/set designers, costumes and makeup people, ava people, directors, tarian-ers, afiqah for sajak-ing and murnira for being ma stage manager shadow, the chorus and not forgetting.. THE CAST OF COURSE! 0h thanks goes to teater artistik as well and to cikgu nisa and cigku roziyah for helping us out along the way (: and abagazillion thanks goes to all of you who came down to watch! we TOTALLY appreciate it, haha thank you for laughing as well xD it has been a..how do i put this, fruitful experience working with the team and by fruitful i mean, there were sweetstrawberries and sourgrapes moments, haha. so yeah, kudos to all you guys and may PERBAYU come up with a superawesomefantastic event next year! *grins* but as we all know, same goes with this post. so if you're up for reading the behind the scenes of the drama, go ahead and continue. if you'd rather stop here and feel a sense of accomplishment already, it's up to you as well (: there were a few things that i've learnt during this drama production which i feel would help juniors make a better production next year, and help us sec 4s be better PEOPLE by next year. firstly, communication, is VERY important. it's the number one thing on the list of 'how to make a good production'. when decisions are made, they should be made known to everyone. the most atas people should pass the message down to the other heads and then they will pass it down to those in their committee. information should not reach at a standstill at the 'atas people' stage or the 'other heads' stage. pass it on. haven't we sung that song too many times? secondly, don't just talk. don't just critic. DO SOMETHING. to those who are unsatisfied, lay out all your cards on the table. bitch as much as you want but nothing will be solved until you come upfront and talk face to face with the person you're dissatisfied with. and to those who are at the mercy of people getting dissatisfied with you, take criticism with an open mind and it's not enough to just hear, you have to LISTEN. no matter how good of a job you think you're doing, if a group of people are telling you you're not doing it right, then you probably have to think again. and it's neverNEVER too late to change how things work. never. oh and rememer: we're a democratic society, not authorative. at this point, i'd like to say that the second point speaks to me as well. real loud. i have to learn to take criticism well. even if someone says that 'budak kecik can say it better than you guys' or if another says 'saya rasa awak berbahas lagi bagus daripada sajak awak' in front of other people. i have to suck it up and just prove them wrong. whatever doesn't kill you only makes you stronger, no? yesterday it affected me like shit and then all you nice friends gave me your hugs and your farnylittle encouragements xD haha IBUF. thanks very2 much eh you guys! must've been annoying after awhile so, yeash, i apologise D: thirdly, don't depend on others. sometimes you just have to do things yourself. if you keep waiting for people like, quoted from miza: 'macam tunggu durian runtuh siak'.. things won't progress. so take the initiative and ask what needs to be done. it's bad enough if people are not telling you what your job is. don't make it worse by being some tunggul/kayu/batu who doesn't do anything either. fourthly, give credit where it's due. VERY IMPORTANT. acknowledge the things that people have done. oh, and if you're working as a team, please, remember to use WE, not I. don't go all syiok sendiri and think that whatever you created is all due to your hard work. (unless it truly is ah). and remember to say PLEASE and THANK YOU, whether you're orang atasan or bawahan, manners is still very2 important. fifthly, RESPECT. respect your seniors. respect those of your level. respect people who are working their butts off to put things together. give us respect and we'll give the same thing back. don't buat bising macam tempat tu korang punya. no one's stopping you from having fun. but don't take that forgranted either, cos that might make people think twice the next before granting you freedom to do what you want. last but not least, know when to be sensitive, and when to be crude. when you know that someone is doing something wrong, tegur baik-baik, see if there's a reason behind why she's doing it wrong. jangan main serang tak pakai helmet, nanti diri sendiri yang sakit. but when nothing changes and whatever the person's doing becomes a bad habit, maybe that's when you can take a step up and be say things with that black face and WTF tone of yours. but never, EVER, touch on things like the person's family, or past. i think that's rather mean. and sungguh tidak relevant langsung. 'nuff said :D I dont care if you hate me after this.
